We believe that God is for you—not because of anything you have done, but because of what Jesus Christ has done for you. All people are sinners by nature and by action and cannot reconcile themselves to God. Left to ourselves, we stand under sin and death. But God has acted in mercy. Jesus Christ, true God and true man, lived, died, and rose again for sinners. By His death, He has borne our sin. By His resurrection, He gives life. In Him, forgiveness, life, and salvation are given freely—not earned, but received as a gift.

We confess the Christian faith as it is taught in the Holy Scriptures and summarized in the Lutheran Reformation:

  • Grace Alone – We are saved by God’s grace alone, not by our works or merit. Salvation is His free gift through Jesus Christ.

  • Faith Alone – This gift is received through faith alone. Faith is not something we achieve, but something God creates in us through His Word.

  • Scripture Alone – The Bible is the inspired and trustworthy Word of God. Through it, God reveals His Law and His Gospel and makes Himself known to us.

God does not leave His promises distant or uncertain. He delivers them to you:

  • Through His Word – God speaks forgiveness and creates faith through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • In Holy Baptism – God joins us to Christ, forgives sins, and gives new birth as His children.

  • In the Lord’s Supper – Jesus gives His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins.

These are not merely symbols, but the means by which Christ is for you—personally and concretely.

With the universal Christian Church, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.

Christ is for you

Grace Alone. Faith Alone. Scripture Alone.

The Lord's Supper

In the Lord’s Supper, Jesus gives His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. We receive this gift as He has promised, trusting His Word. Because Communion expresses unity in confession, we ask visitors to speak with the pastor before communing.
