Frequently asked questions
Does your program cost anything?
Nope! Our program is supported fully by our congregation and is free to all participants!
Is this a drop-off program?
Yes, this is a drop-off program where you will check your student(s) in every morning at the registration table and walk them into the sanctuary to drop them off with their crew leader. At the end of day, you will pick your student(s) from the sanctuary and check them out with their crew leader. There is a spot on the registration form to indicate approved alternate pick up adults if needed.
What if we miss a day?
We are very flexible and understanding that summer schedules and vacations happen! If you have to miss a day or two, please let us know as soon as possible, but do not stress! We are happy to have your student(s) join us for as much of the week as they are able to.
Will you have a service project for the week?
Yes, we will be collecting food donations for the Kenmore Senior Center Food Pantry! We will explain the collection and send home a specific list of needed items on Monday.
If you would like to start collecting early, a general list of items includes: shelf stable dry goods (pastas, beans, lentils, oatmeal packets, instant potatoes, etc.), canned proteins, beans, veggies, fruit and soups.
How can I contact you with any other questions?
You can reach the Director Alanna Davis by email at alanna@epiphanyonline.org. She is also available by phone during our open office hours, Monday - Thursday, 9 am - 1:30 pm at 425-488-9606.
What is the theological background of your program?
This program comes from Concordia Publishing House (CPH), the official publisher for The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). We (Epiphany) are a member congregation of the LCMS. You can find out more about our beliefs and the LCMS here. You can check out more about CPH here.
Does my student need to be potty-trained?
Yes, we do require that all students be potty-trained and able to use the bathroom without assistance. Our volunteers will not be offering aid in the bathroom due to our safety protocols.
